Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Wheel World Unlimited will or will not issue a refund. It works in direct alignment with our Returns & Exchanges Policy. In the event of any conflict between this policy and the Returns & Exchanges Policy, the Returns & Exchanges Policy controls.

Eligibility for a Refund

Refunds are issued only on return requests that meet all conditions outlined in our Returns & Exchanges Policy. To qualify for a refund:

  • The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date
  • The wheel must be in its original, unmounted, unmodified condition
  • The wheel must be returned in its original packaging with all original hardware, manuals, and documents included
  • The return must be authorized by Wheel World Unlimited prior to shipping
  • The wheel must pass inspection upon receipt

After 30 days from delivery, all sales are final and items are only covered under our standard limited warranty.

Items Not Eligible for a Refund

Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances on the following:

  • Wheels that have been mounted or installed on a vehicle, regardless of whether the vehicle was driven
  • Wheels that have been painted, powder coated, drilled, modified, or altered in any way
  • Wheels damaged after delivery due to improper handling, installation, or road use
  • Wheels damaged by the customer through misuse, missing parts, or any condition that renders the product unsellable
  • Special order wheels in custom sizes or finishes
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Original shipping and handling charges
  • Return shipping costs

Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Wheel World Unlimited does not issue refunds to alternate payment methods, store credit, gift cards, or third party accounts. If the original payment method is no longer valid or active, the customer is responsible for resolving the issue with their financial institution. Wheel World Unlimited is not responsible for refunds delayed or rejected due to closed accounts, expired cards, or other issues with the customer’s payment method.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving, inspecting, and approving the returned item. Once processed, refunds typically appear on the customer’s original payment method within 3 to 10 additional business days, depending on the financial institution. Wheel World Unlimited is not responsible for processing delays caused by banks, credit card issuers, or third-party payment processors.

Refund Amount

The refund amount consists of the invoice price of the returned item, less the following deductions where applicable:

  • Restocking fee of up to $99 for wheel returns
  • Restocking fee of up to $15 for accessory returns
  • Reconditioning costs if the returned item shows signs of wear, cosmetic blemishes, missing parts, or damage upon inspection
  • Original shipping and handling charges (non-refundable)
  • Return shipping costs (customer’s responsibility, not reimbursed)

If a returned wheel is found ineligible for a refund upon inspection, the wheel will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled by the customer at no charge if cancellation is requested before the order has shipped. To cancel an order, contact info@wheelworldunlimited.com immediately after placing the order. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the standard return process and may be subject to restocking fees and return shipping costs.

Wheel World Unlimited reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cancellations due to inventory errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, unverifiable shipping addresses, or non-compliance with our Shipping Policy. In the event of a cancellation by Wheel World Unlimited, the original payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items

If a wheel arrives damaged or is found to be defective, refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy and Warranty Policy for the correct claim procedure. Damaged or defective claims must be submitted within the timeframes specified in those policies. Refunds for damaged or defective items, if approved, will be processed in accordance with this Refund Policy.

Wrong Item Shipped

If Wheel World Unlimited shipped the wrong item, the customer may request an exchange or a refund. Exchange requests are governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy. If the customer elects a refund instead of an exchange, Wheel World Unlimited will cover the return shipping cost and refund the full invoice price including original shipping and handling charges.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact info@wheelworldunlimited.com to resolve any refund issue before initiating a chargeback or dispute with a financial institution. Wheel World Unlimited reserves the right to provide documentation to financial institutions and payment processors to dispute fraudulent or invalid chargeback claims. Customers who initiate chargebacks for orders that meet all delivery and product condition requirements may be banned from future purchases at our discretion.

Right to Deny

Wheel World Unlimited reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not meet all stated conditions.
